Sate Buntel

DSCN0468

Sate buntel is traditionally from Bali. When we were hungry, we can find sate buntel in some spot in Bali and widely available for you. It’s made from fish, and served by grilled in some bamboo stick, just as regular sate (satay).

How much is it? Is took around 10.000 rupiah per 10 stick. Usually served per 10 stick. When you enjoy this meal, you can eat it with some rice, which the price is separated from sate buntel.

Rice n Egg

Nasi Telur

We are not afraid of hunger or global food crisis. We can just eat a rice, with fried egg and some vegetable. It’s good choice for fast food rather than McD or kind of chicked junkies, such as Kentucky, Texas, etc. This is more natural somehow :)

Mixed Ice (Es Campur)

Es Campur

I don’t really sure, what is the best word for “Es Campur”, but, according to the raw translation, it should be “Mixed Ice”. Mixed Ice or what it’s known as Es Campur is kind of ice, dessert, you can find on Indonesia. It’s pretty nice. We can mixed all what we want, so you can eat just what you like. It’s kinda great right?

Sate Ayam

Satay, at least that's what it sounds like we said "SATE". It's very popular kind of food in Indonesia, especially, in Jawa Timur Province. Satay can be made from

  1. Chicken
  2. Goat
  3. Pork
  4. Beef
  5. Fish
  6. Mutton
Satay is also popular in many of Asia countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and even Japan. Japanese used "YAKITORI" as their term to address "SATAY" :D

To make a satay, firstly, we slice them to make it small pieces, and then, on bamboo skewers, we put the small pieces of meat into the bamboo and we should grilled it or barbequed it. The best thing if we used coal (charcoal) and we barbequed it. The original taste of Sate is come from it's barbequed coal. It's nice !

You can find many different spice of satay, from:

  1. Bumbu Kacang (nut spice)
  2. Bumbu Manis (sweet spice)
  3. Bumbu Kecap (Sweet sauce spice)
  4. Bumbu Tauco (Tauco spice)
  5. etc
So, have you even tried?

Bakpao Chik Yen, Original From Surabaya

Macam-macam Bakpao Chikyen:

  1. Ayam
  2. Daging
  3. Kacang tanah
  4. Kacang hijau
  5. Polos
Sangat enak untuk menemani perut lapar dan disaat kedinginan :D
