It comes with chicken, egg, and some various vegetables. There is “PEYEK” which is cracker, specially made to accompany the Javanese Salad.

What Is Lemper?

 

Lemper is traditional food in Indonesia. It’s made of rice and some shredded meat. So, if you know what Sushi, the Japanese Food, perhaps Lemper is the giant Sushi.

What happened to lemper if you put it on the dashboard under the sunlight? In just an hour, they’ll just like microwaved. So, actually it’s energy saving, how to put your lemper on fire, ehm… on microwave. You don’t need a microwave, all you need is just a sunlight.

Lemper is delicious and known as traditional food which is around Rp. 2.000 to Rp.5.000. You can find it easily in Indonesia.

What Is Pedagang Kaki Lima

Pedagang kaki lima is a pushcart merchant. They usually sell edible stuff, such as Pentol (similar to meatball), Es (Cold Drink), Siomay, fruits, etc.

Why they are called Kaki Lima? Because their pushcart is usually has five legs, so they can stop anywhere. So, where is the five legs? They are 2 tire, 2 stand and one person. So they count as five.

Pangsit Mie Jembatan Merah

Maybe in this picture it seem like some kind of weird food, but i can teel you it’s so dellicious. It’s one of my favorite food’s. It’s name Pangsit Mie jembatan Merah (Noodle with Meat Ball of Red Bridge), however, it's best with name "Pangsit Mie".

You can find "Pangsit Mie Jembatan Merah" near the Ibis Hotel at Jembatan Merah, in front of Jembatan Merah Plaza. Actually, its located in the end of Rajawali Street to Jembatan Merah. In the right hand side, you'll find Pangsit Mie Jembatan Merah, before the bridge.

Rujak Cingur is one of the famous Traditional Food in Indonesia, it’s originally from Surabaya. Rujak Cingur is made from boiled mix Vegetable, Bumbu Petis (shrimp paste) and added with chops of Cingur (cow nose). It’s so Delicious…! Bon Appetite!!!
