Telecommication are very very cheap in Indonesia. When we compared Indonesia to other country, such as Singapore Singtel, China Unicom, we can see there is a huge different from Indonesia’s telecommunication and overseas telecommunication.
For example, to buy starter pack from China Unicom, it’s cost us 80 Yuan for regular number with the creadit just 50 Yuan. There is no discount rate for calling or SMS.
What about Indonesia? It’s fact. There’s a lot of promotion, so cheap if compared to Singapore or even China. We can buy a starter pack of any provider, start from Rp. 5000 (1 USD = 9.000 Rupiah). And also, for the same operator, we can make call at no cost, or there a small of amount charged. As you can see in the picture, there is 50% added credit for every recharge on Bakire Telecom, or the product called Esia.

Sometimes, the craziest thing is, if we accept a call from other operator, our operator give us credit !!! Amazing huh? This kind of promotion are done by Bakrie Telecom and Axis (Former of Lippo Telectom).
After all, everything in China is cheap except the telecommunication :D Singapore? Everything is expensive, not suitable for poor people like me :D
